Business/Support Analyst - FILLED

This is an iconic NZ business located in Mount Maunganui and a great employer with a stable and committed team. Producing a key ingredient to the food and pharmaceutical industry, they are leading in their market with exciting plans for the future. 

The business operates in a very productive collaboration with its parent company, an Australian/Pacific major player in the industry.

Reporting to the CFO, your main area of responsibility is to manage and support the business in its use of business systems to enable execution of the strategy. You will work closely with people throughout the business, our parent company as well as external providers.

This position is initially a one-year contract but has high potential to change into a permanent position.

Your main tasks will be…

  • Trouble shooting and improvement of data management and reporting across all functions
  • Analysing business systems to determine effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Developing systems specifications and make recommendations
  • Assisting the CFO with identifying and documenting requirements and preparing well defined business cases
  • Assisting the CFO in the preparation of ICT business plans and delivering agreed improvements to systems or related processes
  • Assisting in identifying new technologies to support business systems in the future that align with the Group IT Strategy
  • Leveraging Office 365 and communications tools more effectively in alignment with Group IT
  • Managing existing vendors to agreed SLAs and prepare business systems statements of work and requests for proposals (RFP)
  • Working with vendors and third-party contractors in managing and supporting legacy systems along with managing service provider of the Datacom Limelite infrastructure

 

To be successful in this role you require…

  • Experience with the Microsoft Dynamic Suite, ideally AX or latest version of Dynamics 365
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365
  • MS SQL (Databases, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS)
  • Management and Financial Reporting Tools (MR)
  • SSAS, Analysis Services (Cubes)
  • Atlas Reporting
  • Power BI /BI 360
  • Understanding of networking, security and server management
  • Experience in a manufacturing business with an understanding of business processes and systems impact on financials
  • Understanding of accounting within an ERP system preferred
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with a broad frame work endorsed by the CFO
  • Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to convey complex systems problems/solutions in understandable terms to a range of users
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective team work and communication skills across all levels in the organisation and in the group
